Remote Temporary Recruiting Assistant
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm to find a Temporary Recruiting Assistant to support their dynamic Legal Recruiting Department. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to engage in comprehensive administrative and logistical support for the firm's recruiting initiatives.
Position Overview:
The Temporary Legal Recruiting Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the firm's Legal Recruiting Department. This position plays a key role in facilitating attorney recruiting efforts, summer program coordination, and candidate communications. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Legal Recruiting team across all programs and initiatives.
- Assist with planning and implementation of the Summer Associate Program, including pre-arrival logistics, orientation scheduling, event coordination, nametag creation, and exit interview scheduling.
- Support all aspects of the on-campus interview (OCI) process, including registration for OCI programs, resume collections, and job fairs; maintaining candidate files; and scheduling interviews.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from the department's general Outlook and phone lines, directing communications as appropriate.
- Assist the Legal Recruitment Manager with managing lateral associate and judicial clerk candidate applications, including candidate summaries, correspondence, and coordination with search firms.
- Maintain and update the recruiting database (viRecruit) and all candidate records.
- Draft and prepare department correspondence for potential and incoming legal hires.
- Coordinate payments for incoming and lateral associates (bar, clerkship, moving, and travel expenses) and travel reimbursements for associate and summer associate candidates.
- Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and integrity in handling all sensitive firm and candidate information.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in legal recruiting, professional services, or law firm administration is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with viRecruit or similar recruiting databases preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Willingness and availability to work overtime, particularly during peak recruiting seasons.
Additional Information:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (Overtime as needed)
Compensation: $20-$30/hour, depending on experience
Location: Fully remote (preference for candidates based in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Palo Alto)
Note: This is a temporary, fully remote position. Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Palo Alto areas in the event occasional onsite presence is required.
